New Patients at Jindalee Complete Dental
Your Evaluation
Our dentists will want to take plenty of time getting to know you and what your overall health is like.
Before examining your teeth, your facial anatomy, profile and jaw shape will be examined. From there we’ll screen for problems such as airway, TMJ disorder, sleep apnoea and ask about symptoms of headaches or migraines. Finally, we’ll assess your oral anatomy, tooth health and your gum health.
Addressing Orthopaedic and Orthodontic Needs
If your teeth and jaws are misaligned, it can lead to complications in your TMJ (jaw joint), or breathing. It’s quite common to see obstructive sleep apnoea, headaches and neck pains, and atypical movement (such as tongue thrusting and joint popping) as a result. Interceptive orthodontics in children can prevent these situations from becoming more complex and severe, but treatment is also available for adults.
Keeping You Comfortable
Our dentists strive to provide gentle care that’s paced at your individual comfort level. By getting to know you better and explaining each of the procedures that we’re completing, you can feel confident and relaxed throughout the duration of your care.
