His Passion in Dentistry

Dr Jae Choi (Principal Dentist) is a general dentist who tailors his practice on airway-focused dentofacial orthopaedics and  orthodontics, and Management of TMD as well as Dental Implants. With a focus on preventative care, Dr Jae believes that a person’s oral health has a tremendous impact on a person’s quality of life and general wellness. Although he provides orthodontic services, he stresses how getting braces isn’t “just about straightening teeth” but “getting people healthier” by enhancing their sleep quality and lowering the risk of underlying medical conditions, but at the same time, making their face and smile more beautiful.

With a special interest in airway-driven orthopaedics and orthodontics, Dr Jae practices non-extraction treatments that promote healthy jaw alignment and facial anatomy, which in turn lower the rates of sleep apnoea, TMJ disorder, headaches, and general health.

Although Dr Jae is a general dentist, he has Masters’s in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopaedics, Fellowship with the IAO, ICOI, IDIA, and IADFE shows his commitment and extent of knowledge on the subject of airway-focused orthodontics and how it affects his patients on an everyday basis (especially in young children) and dental implants.

Dr Jae’s passion for dentistry does not end seeing and treating patients at Jindalee Complete Dental. Outside of his work, Dr Jae is also on the teaching faculty at International Academy of Advanced Dentistry (IAADent) alongside Dr Kenneth Lee, who are international leaders of orthopaedic and orthodontics. Dr Jae teaches Orthopaedic/Orthodontics and Dental Implantology to dentists from Australia and around the world.

Outside of the Office

Outside of work, Dr Jae enjoys spending time with his family, especially with his baby boy. He is also a huge football fan and loves playing tennis.
